Automation Test Engineer | Windows embedded

Your new opportunity is to become part of an outstanding testing team for a remarkable Sydney based company. Producing global products in the industrial sector, based on high end electronic devices and core optimisation software solutions, you will be pushed to work on some interesting, complex solutions.

As a senior Test Engineer, your experience will help to guide the testing team. Your solid knowledge in test automation will help them continually move forward and push for better performance and quality in their products. You will ensure complete test coverage and help create testing frameworks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Dev Tester with more than 8 years experience
– Proficient in networking protocols such as TCP, Zero MQ
– Proficient in testing windows services
– Has experience in API testing
– Has knowledge in the deployment of Applications in devices
– Good Knowledge in SQL
– Knowledge of Automation Frameworks for Unit Testing /Functional Testing and planning the design and execution of test cases
– Has good Understanding of Continuous Integration concepts
– Exposure to Performance testing and security testing an added advantage
– Exposure to Hardware testing is a plus

COMPETENCIES

– 8+ years as a QA Analyst/Test Engineer
– Experience across the SDLC and well versed in test methodologies
– Experience with programming languages such as C#, C++ or Java
– Experience in developing test cases from requirements, test execution and defect management
– Augment automate and maintain existing test suite
– Proficient in Automation regression tools like Ranorex, AutoIT
– Exposure to test Management tool like TestLink and CI tool Jenkins
– Defect management using JIRA
– Competent in creating automation framework for unit and functional testingBut wait. It gets better.

Embedded C Software Engineer | OSless & MCU Internals

Our client is an innovative product development company with an exciting opportunity for an experienced embedded software engineer to work on cloud connected building access control systems. The role will suit someone who has very strong knowledge of MCUs (microcontroller internals) and worked with OSless environments.

The main focus of this role is to develop new products to support and interfacing with existing systems. The role will also require participation in hardware selection for new designs. You will be given free rein to come up with innovative ideas in order to solve complex problems.

From a non-technical perspective, we are looking for someone with the ability to function independently with a “go-getter” attitude and a passion for learning new concepts and working in a new domain.
Experience with personal projects or hobbies related to embedded systems will be looked upon favourably.
