Senior SOC Analyst / IR / Hunter

This is a great opportunity to join one of Australia’s largest enterprise in their fast growing IT security team. Reporting to the Head of Threat Intelligence, the primary purpose of the Senior Security Operations Analyst role is to ensure that security incidents and vulnerabilities are detected and responded to ASAP.

The key responsibilities will include:

– Monitoring and analysis of systems and responding to cyber security events;
– Coordinating security incident and breach investigations with the applicable tech teams and service providers;
– Educating Strategy, Risk and Gove
ance teams following incidents and recommending additional controls;
– Continually improving the incident response plans and run books;
– Producing Threat Intelligence reports periodically for senior management;
– Facilitation of cyber security incident simulation activities;
– Identification and management of security risks;

To be a fit for this role you must be a technically strong Security Specialist with the following experience:

– Incident Response experience of at least 4 years;
– Threat and malware analysis (3 years exp);
– Network traffic analysis experience Wireshark, TCPDump, DShell etc);
– IDS/IPS, Endpoint security, Firewalls etc;
– Knowledge of attack techniques & vectors.

Currently seeking a Business Analyst to join a leading organisation on a 6-month contract with immediate start. This is based in Sydney CBD.

Strong banking background required as well as strong communication and learning ability as this is an in-flight project and requires you to fit in seamlessly.

Your day to day responsibilities will involve:

– Responsible for leading requirements gathering and validation with key business and technology stakeholders via workshops and interviews and using techniques such as modelling, storyboarding, story carding etc

– Mobilising and Leading workshops

– Develop and manage required documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure business needs/outcomes are met

– Provide regular reporting and communications of progress wins and issues to PM as required

Selection Criteria:

– 4-5 years experience as a Business Analyst within Banking/Financial Services

– Strong banking background, need to have Regulatory Reform experience

– Extensive experience working an Agile environment

– Outstanding Stakeholder management ability and customer work ethic

– Superior communication/learning ability

– Team player & ability to think outside the box!

Senior Technical Business Analyst – Fund Services, Fund Management

Large Wealth Division is looking for a Senior Business Analyst for an 18 month project to replace their accounting system.

Specific system knowledge is not mandatory – however the successful candidate will have previously worked within investment, funds services, or funds management.

You will be responsible for the data mapping and process maps on the operational side for the systems.

Six different modules to be rolled out over 18 months.

Core Requisites:

– Experienced Senior Business Analyst from Financial Services who has PREVIOUSLY WORKED in Funds or Investment
– Basic SQL – should be able to do batch configuration
– Good understanding of business operations
– Good understanding of investment operations, corporate actions, fund accounting, reconciliation, risk and attribution
– Familiarity with Agile

Infrastructure Analyst

The Infrastructure Analyst will operate within the Investment team with broad responsibility for providing support to senior team members in managing all aspects of infrastructure investments from origination, financial close through to asset management.

You will be primarily involved in direct investments and co-investments. This will include undertaking due diligence, preparing and reviewing financial models, and writing investment papers. Broader responsibilities will include managing the deal register, supporting asset management functions, such as periodic valuations, and working on the development of the strategy and business plan. This position will also be required to support the management of infrastructure fund managers as well as undertaking due diligence on investment opportunities of large-scale infrastructure assets including ports, airports, PPPs, tollroads, rail, utilities, energy and renewables.

The successful candidate will possess 2-4 years finance experience (investment banking/fund manager/advisory/corporate/other). Infrastructure experience will be highly regarded. Strong quantitative, including financial modelling, skills and a clear attention to detail. Microsoft Excel competency is essential as models must be easily understood when presented and shared between team members.

A Tertiary qualification in a finance, commerce, economics or engineering discipline with excellent academic transcripts. Applicants working towards a post-graduate qualification such as the Chartered Accounting or Chartered Financial Analyst program will be well regarded.

Due to ongoing strategic growth, we are seeking an experienced Analyst with strong SQL skill to join the Corporate Strategy team for Retail Energy.

* Proven experience in energy retailing is a must for this role. *

As part of the Corporate Strategy team for Retail Energy, you will provide timely analytical support to the team through undertaking:

Data Validation and Reconciliation

– Build data validation and reconciliation model to ensure correct data is used for Accruals, Month-end and regulatory reporting
– Analyse data anomalies and work with business stakeholders to resolve issues

Execution and Improvements of Revenue and Network Cost Accruals Model, Month-End Reporting and Regulatory Environmental Reporting

– Prepare revenue and network cost accruals on a monthly basis to satisfy the reporting requirements of Energy Market Finance
– Work closely with Environmental Reporting and Finance team to ensure their data needs are met

Improve model design to ensure data produced is complete, accurate and reliable

To fulfil the key responsibilities and business objectives of this role, you will come from a strong analytical based role in a commercial environment in addition to the following experience and qualifications:

– Experience in the utilities industry with an understanding of customer billing and/or network costs
– Ideally, at least 3 years experience working in financial data analysis
– Undergraduate degree in business, finance, computer science or other relevant tertiary qualification;
– Track and report data mart volumes and values
– Strong understanding of core software packages to perform data analysis, including SQL, SAS, Excel and Access
– Development and continuous enhancement of data variables
