Senior Commercial Analyst – Retail – $130K + Super

An iconic retail brand based in Macquarie Park are currently seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Analyst to fill a highly visible and business critical vacancy. Sitting amongst both the IT and finance divisions, you will prove to be a key business partner for senior IT executives in order to drive excellent retu
s on IT investments. This role reports directly to the Head of Commercial Finance though supports key stakeholders across the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

– Provide financial leadership and commercial acumen to management surrounding investment decisions through business case development and assessment
– Work with Project Managers to prepare financial models to support business cases including incorporating a benefits tracking plan
– Work with and coach Project Managers to drive continuous efficiency through effective financial controls and gove
ance
– Provide input to and collaborate and share information with the wider business
– Perform commercial and financial analysis on contracts
– Prepare packs and presentations to explain the progress of IT investment to stakeholders including Business Units
– Provide strong Financial Gove
ance and Insights

About you:

– Relevant financial/accounting degree and professional qualifications such as CA/CPA
– 5+ years experience in an analytical role
– Previous experience in building financial models to support business cases
– Strong written and verbal communication skills, stakeholder management and relationship building skills
– Advanced in project gove
ance fundamentals and understanding of delivery methodologies
