Rehabilitation Consultant – In-house Life Insurance

The In-house Rehabilitation Consultant is responsible for supporting the claims operational team by providing and monitoring rehabilitation services, support, advice and training to improve the claims experience for the company and its customers.

The role

– Achieve targets for cost savings on cases referred for external rehabilitation.

– Assist in implementing strategic projects to improve business performance and process

– Ensure consistent, quality rehabilitation decisions

– Provide technical advice and guidance to the claims team in regards to rehabilitation issues affecting claims management

To be considered

– Allied health qualified with a degree in either Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling

– Experience across a broad range of injury manager / /rehabilitation

– Sound knowledge of detached / new employer based vocation rehabilitation initiatives

– Strong stakeholder management

– Strategic and holistic approach to rehabilitation

– Experienced in mentoring and coaching

ABOUT THE ROLE
In this position as an Account Manager you will be responsible for selling a range of innovative molecular biology products with the main focus being WA, and some travel to SA and NT (few times a year). You are also increasing brand awareness and providing technical and market support. You will be spending most of your time with universities, pathology companies and hospitals.

Key responsibilities

– Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers
– Selling and promoting the product portfolio including prospecting potential customers and cold calling
– Identifying regional strategic business opportunities
– Achieving set financial targets that are expected to be met to achieve projected revenue goals
– Preparing monthly sales reports to the Sales Director

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

– You need to have an University (minimum Bachelors) Degree in Life Science or related discipline
– 3+ years experience working in a sales position (with proven track record of success), ideally in a related life sciences field (Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular, etc.)
– Positive attitude with the drive to meet targets
– A high level of business acumen
– Having the ability to work individually and as part of a team
