Utilising the latest technologies and working on an intuitive digital platform, you will be helping to simplify the end-to-end journey for people.

The skills and experience you will bring:

– Experience working Java Full-Stack development
– Experience developing Mobile Applications
– Experience building REST APIs and optimizing web app performance
– Experience working with online team collaboration tools
– Proven experience with analytics, agile methodologies, responsive design, code quality and system scalability
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated experience in influencing key relationship

It would also be very beneficial if you bring experience in:

– React Native and JavaScript
– Mulesoft
– Development IDE tools such as Atom, Brackets, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, Android Studio

In this role you will:

– Provide leadership role in the team, including mentoring and development support
– Drive a quality focussed culture by testing your code meticulously, iterating quickly and deploying frequently
– Build world-class user experiences in a cloud based environment with low overhead
– Support an existing codebase and create new features and experiences
– Review and improve basic interaction models and wireframes
– Build new products and refine existing applications
– Facilitate effective and collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders

How to get this role

– 4+ years commercial experience using Java / Android SDK / Android Studio with Spring.io (Spring Boot)
– Experience using the latest frameworks and libraries in Android Development
– Synchronous / Asynchronous design patte
and API experience (MVC, MVVM, ReactiveX)
– Micro services Experience
– Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts
– GIS Experience is a huge BONUS
– Experience in Android SDK development, XML, JSON and Web Services
– Experience with RESTful APIs/Back-End APIs
– Experience with application architecture
– A passion for building new applications and problem solving
– Experience with Unit-test and Android Instrumentation Tests
– Experience with GIT
– Experience with Agile software development advantageous
– Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
– Strong understanding of Android design patte
