The Executive Director Nursing & Allied Health will provide critical strategic, professional and operational leadership, including workforce planning, performance, training and education. Reporting to the Chief Executive, this role is responsible for monitoring national and global best practice, leading the continual development of professional nursing and clinical standards, and participating in state-wide workforce policy development. The appointee will champion organisational change initiatives, and ensure nurses have a constructive voice in the ongoing pursuit of excellence in clinical care and the patient experience.

You are a post-graduate qualified, registered nurse with an outstanding reputation for professional and operational leadership. An advocate and innovator in health, your proven ability to align stakeholders and staff with a collective vision has seen you deliver significant change in challenging health environments. You present with demonstrable executive potential or experience in a hospital of relevant scale, and ideally possess experience in paediatric nursing.
